Project Deposits

Most software development projects require an initial deposit to begin work. Deposit amounts vary by project scope and are specified in the service agreement. Deposits are typically:

  • 25-50% of the total project cost for fixed-price projects
  • A minimum retainer amount for time-and-materials projects
  • Non-refundable once work has commenced

Cancellation Policy

Before Work Begins

If you cancel a project before we begin work, you may be eligible for a full refund of any deposits paid, minus a cancellation fee to cover administrative costs.

After Work Begins

Once work has commenced, cancellations will be subject to:

  • Payment for all work completed up to the cancellation date
  • Any third-party costs incurred (licenses, services, etc.)
  • Forfeiture of the initial deposit

Clients will receive all work products completed up to the cancellation date.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered in the following situations:

  • We are unable to complete the agreed-upon work
  • There is a material breach of the service agreement by SUNDANES SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS, LLC
  • Technical impossibility prevents project completion

Refunds are generally not provided for:

  • Changes in business direction or priorities
  • Dissatisfaction with completed work that meets agreed specifications
  • Time-and-materials projects billed for actual hours worked

Dispute Resolution

If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact us to discuss the matter. We are committed to working with our clients to reach fair and reasonable resolutions. Any disputes will be handled in accordance with the terms outlined in your service agreement.

Payment Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days and returned to the original payment method. Please note that depending on your financial institution, it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account.

Modifications

We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. Any changes will apply to projects initiated after the modification date. Existing projects will be governed by the policy in effect at the time of project commencement.
